Worship Assistants

Leanne Beutler

Children from the ages of 4 through 12 can serve as acolytes.  The acolytes light the candles prior to the service and extinguish them at the end of the service.   It is a good way for the children to get activily involved in the worship services.  We also welcome adults and mature adults.  It is not just the young people who can serve in this capacity.

Communion Assistants

Members who are baptized and confirmed can be communion assistants.  They assistant the Pastor in the distribution of the Holy Communion.

Any member who can hand out bulletins, usher people to their seats when arriving late, taking up the offering at the appropriate time and ushering members up to the communion rail for Holy Communion.  At this time, are youngest usher is 8 years old!

Altar Guild

Women and Men are members of the Altar Guild.  They serve in the capacity of taking care of the altar paraments, setting up and cleaning up the communion ware for each Sunday service, candles, and hymnboards.

We welcome laypersons to assist the Pastor in the worship services.
