The Health Ministry working with the Parish Nurse(s) and Congregational Health Promoter, this ministry exists to provide support and counsel for those positions and works creatively with them in identifying valuable resources of learning and activity which enhance the over-all wellness of the congregation. It also seeks out and acts on ways to take the message of faith-based wholeness and wellness to the larger community. Consistent with the concern of the well-being of the congregation in general and the concern for the in particular. This ministry coordinates the regular offerings of the Life-Line Screenings here at the church. Also sends out greeting cards signed by members of the congregation to our shut-ins and members living in assisted living communities who cannot come and worship with us.
